Aaron is 9 years old, 4th grade
I think this is the basics for Aaron this year. I feel like he needs something more, but I'm just not sure yet what that is. I feel like I need more of a spine for him like Trail guide to learning possibly. I will update as I add new curriculum throughout the year, but this is what he has for now.
Math:
He will be doing Teaching Textbooks 5 this year for math. I was so excited when I realized I already had this from when April used it. He mainly just uses the CD's so I haven't needed to replace the book yet.
Science:
Along with his brother he will be Exploring Creation with Botany, and he has a journal to go with it. For a supplement I also have Skill Sharpener's science (not pictured) by Evan Moore.
Art:
He will use Home art studio grade 4 (not pictured), Drawing basics with Thomas Kinckade, and for fun a step-by-step drawing people Usborne book.
Typing:
Typing instructor for kids
Language arts:
A lot of these books are from last year, and he'll just keep working through them because he didn't get very far in them! Writing and Spelling: Daily 6 trait writing, with maybe a change to write shop D halfway through year. A reason for handwriting, word roots. Spelling: language smarts D
I don't have a reading or history program for him yet. I need to make some more decisions as we get into the school year. So for now these subjects will just be included with other stuff or in unit studies.
