CodeWizardsHQ class (A REVIEW)

Live Class Computer Programming for your Students {CodeWizardsHQ}

We love coding around here. I have two boys that are both very interested in it, so I always like the opportunity to try out a new class or curriculum, and of course they (the boys) always say yes to trying it too. That's why one of my boys had the opportunity to try out an online class from CodeWizardsHQ. He loved it, and wanted more after the class was over. These coding classes are for any child or student in homeschool, public school, or private school. They have programs for all. My son did the Introduction to HTML class. They also have intro to programming, and Intro to JavaScript.

The class that he did was a live on-line interactive class for homeschoolers on the review crew. There was a live teacher, and he was able to talk directly through a microphone to the teacher and all the other kids on the class. It was great for him to get direct feedback and help on the project. He made something similar to what is pictured here:

Below is what his screen looked like most of the time during the class. He only had to ask for my help a few times to find things he wasn't sure where they were. If he were to do the whole 12-week course, I think he could do most of it on his own with the live help from the teacher. That right there would be worth it to me! Less for ME to do, and he gets to learn something he loves.

They offer special pricing for homeschool students, so I would definitely look into that for signing up. They also have internship opportunities for high schoolers, and this would be a great class for a high school transcript. I believe there is some sort of certificate earned at the end too.
