New Year--New Van

Our previous van served us well, but it was showing its age, a lot. Things seemed to fall apart almost daily. At least it seemed like it. They were all fixable things, for the most part. But, it was getting to the point where we were wondering about its dependability, and if we'd get stranded somewhere. I can't believe I didn't get a goodbye picture of it! (We traded it in)

Well, we finally took the plunge. We have been looking at vans for a while (at least a year). We looked at many new ones, including a brand new Pacifica. That's a nice, and spendy van with lots of bells and whistles! But, we made the more frugal decision buying the last model year at half the price. A decision we are both happy with.

This van sure feels more solid than our old one, and the inside is so comfy. It's an amazing difference, and I'm so thankful we have it now.

I thought this was a great way to be at the car dealer. I wish I could have hidden under a desk and watched Netflix too! Hours at the car dealer is no fun for anybody!

What kind of family car would you pick if you needed a new one right now? Or even just wanted one?

  1. It's so pretty! Congrats! We drive a suburban because we need 4-wheel drive, but I'd love to have a minivan again - I loved my Honda Odyssey, but I'm not sure what I'd choose if I could have a new one! Enjoy!

  2. Congrats on your new van! I honestly don't know what I'd choose. I have a Tahoe right now and it work for us, but maybe something that didn't guzzle up gasoline :)
