Lego ABCs: A is for Among Us

LetterA

Welcome to blogging through the alphabet! We are starting with the very first letter this week, the letter A. If you're just joining us, just hop into the fun, you haven't missed anything yet!

My theme for this round of blogging through the alphabet is LEGO's. Something to do with LEGO's, anything. My goal with this theme is to build something new each week with my boys (particularly my 10-year-old), but it can also just be LEGO-related. I am pretty excited about some of the ideas we have come up with. The best part about this is that I'm finding ways to connect with my kids, but I also am a LEGO lover myself.

Amongus
A is for Among Us

This week, for the letter A, I chose Among Us because Frugal Fun for Boys and Girls posted this fun build on their blog. It looked easy, it kinda intrigued me, and I knew my boys liked the game. So, I started building. As soon as Alex saw what I was building he got really excited and wanted to build the characters too. I even played the game with him after. He was thrilled.

This is "Medbay"

All of these creations were built using LEGO pieces from our stash, it is not a "set" to purchase.

Green Crewmate

Building the crewmates was pretty easy. Alex built the blue ones, of course, because his favorite color is blue. I built the other colors, and the "Medbay" (almost exactly as Sarah built it from Frugal Fun for Boys and Girls). Alex added a few fun and practical "hats". I especially love the one with a croissant on its head.

LEGO's can be so fun.

That concludes our build for this week. Please join co-host Chareen and me as we blog through the alphabet and link-up below.

  1. A few years ago we did a lego quest challenge with the Canadian homeschooler it was so much fun. I loved seeing the creativity of your build. The Green Crew Mate is cute.

Looking forward to seeing more builds as we go through the alphabet.

    1. I saw some of your Lego challenges on your art post. I thought that was a fun coincidence!

  2. I think my teen plays this game. I tried a Lego challenge with my younger two a few years ago - I wonder if they would be up to trying it now.

    1. It is a pretty popular game right now. It's funny, right as I was posting this the neighbor kids had drawn Among Us characters all over their driveway. I'd love to see what your kids build if you decide to do a challenge!
