On Saturday before Easter, we got together with friends to check out some antique shops in a small local town. They were having a special event where kids got a treat at some of the "bunny stops." They even had an Easter bunny to pose for pictures at one of the stores. It was a fun event, and something we'd been talking about doing (checking out the antique shops) for a long time. It was one of those events that was perfect timing.
Some of the stores were decorated so cute. It was all so springy and Easter-y.
I loved that this Easter Bunny wasn't really creepy looking. It was a fun bunny. These 2 are almost too old for this, but this year they loved it.
April came along to check out the antique stores, and to be out and about. This display was fun.
The fire department was there with some old antique trucks. Perfect for strolling along through an antique store wonderland.
Aurora has these gorgeous blue benches all throughout the town. I wanted to take a picture of every single one, but April was my only model and she said one was enough for her.
A lot of blossoms are just popping right now. It felt like a beautiful spring day among the trees.
A little map to show some of the stores we visited. After visiting all the bunny stops, we had lunch at the Aurora Colony Pub that has family seating for a restaurant. We sat outside in their outdoor patio. I didn't get a single picture of that, but it was a nice lunch and a great finish to our fun morning.
